Ismark Kolyanovich

Ismark was running Barovia's defense while his father lay sick when the party arrived, and he opened the gate for them on Cassius's word. After his father was killed he became burgomaster, and admitted he'd kept Strahd's offer for Ireena to himself for six days. He let his sister go with the party because staying was more dangerous.

When the party came back, he was bandaged and barely standing. Helliax healed him. He learned his sister was safe under Strahd's bargain, that she'd chosen to keep traveling with the party, and that the pies the whole village was crying for were made of children. He's promised to help the people going through the withdrawal.
